ALL TO GAIN, NOTHING LOST AT MYKMU JOHOR FORUM.

Some people may think that the issues raised at TDM’s latest dialogue at Mykmu Johor offers nothing new. Perhaps but for sure its target audience were a set of different people namely concerned Johorians and the state’s UMNO grass roots that could make the major difference for the future. We know for sure the people in Johor (as elsewhere in the country) are so fed up with PM and the 1st Family and these Johorians, having waited patiently for so long, finally heard from the most respected citizen and former prime minister of this country for 22 years talking about the ills, shortcomings and dangers befallen on their beloved country and UMNO. Of course these people have heard the same issues but yet they still came to give respect to this extraordinary man who practically gave his life’s service for the betterment of the Nation. Perhaps upon listening to the same issues with some additional pointers and presented from the same or different and varying perspectives, these people would convince themselves on the intricacies confronting and consequences in unseating an incumbent PM. Perhaps too, locked their minds, they realized the significance of UMNO to lead rather then being led due to its apparent political weaknesses; the dialogue offered them the opportunity to interact with others sharing the same concern and the need to spread the distress again.

Joceline Tan of the Star (18 May 2008) was perhaps correct in her “Lull before the Storm” to point out that “the UMNO ground has quietened down because people have made up their minds” and “silence does not mean everything is okay”. “UMNO members are all concern about the leadership transition and the future of UMNO”. We all remember it was Johor UMNO grassroots who magnificently call for a clear exit plan in treating the PM with dignity. That Mykmu JB forum provided TDM another excellent venue to reiterate his call that UMNO, to be bunged from being continually weakened, should immediately dismiss PM. “Parti UMNO tetap kekal, tetapi pemimpin boleh silih berganti'' TDM reiterated while giving some names as possible replacements; he has no preference so long as the party remains united and for party members to close ranks. PM and the 1st Family will continue to do almost anything under the sky just to remain in power, not necessary in the best interest of UMNO and the country but surely for their personal vested interest. As such, there should not be any lax in that call even if most UMNO members have made up their minds.

TDM rightly believes in continuing his efforts in sustaining the pressure for the change in the present leadership and I am sure wherever he goes, he will be given the deserving respect due to his astute statesmanship. Those wishing PM (more so to exterminate the detrimental influence, interference and meddling of the 1st Family as well as the extended 1st Family) to quit soonest rather later should appreciate TDM approaching the same issues (many of which are still unsatisfactory explained) until the objective is accomplished. Many other issues will readily unfold as the deadline approaches.

UNDER PM, OUR NATION IS LOST

This posting was written in response to PM’s comments on Halliburton’s investment in the Iskandar Region “Dr. M : No to Merchants of Deaths in IDR”.

“Halliburton is the only company mentioned by Osama bin Laden in an April 2004 tape in which he claims that "this is a war [in Iraq] that is benefiting major companies with billions of dollars." Internet pundit John Burnett has described Halliburton's deals as recalling a Vietnam-Era controversy. He claims Vice President Cheney's ties to the company are reminiscent of President Lyndon B. Johnson's relationships with Brown & Root” Compliments from Wikipedia.

Our country seems so desperate for foreign investments that anything under the sky will do to the 1st Family. The 1 st Family and the 4th Floor boys take pride in the opening up of corridors here and there; there’s where they can take a good cut out/ profiteer from such corridors. Birds of a feather flock together; can you not see the familiarities between the 1st Family and the promoters of Halliburton in profiteering with people’s blood in their hands. I would welcome into our country any company who would be able to make the weapons to blow Bush and Dick Cheney into oblivion. I understand the other entire world leaders in Bush’s “Coalition of the Willing” have all been kicked out of power even the great spinner, Blair and the sheriff of Asia, Howard. I would definitely not welcome any investor so closely knitted to Dick Cheney, one of the greatest hawks in US history. Iskandar Malaysia CEO Datuk Ikmal Hijaz Hashim defended and expressed his happiness at the willingness of Halliburton to invest in Johor; well I guess he only takes direction from the boys at 4th Floor.. The country’s many pro reforms targeting at more democratic freedom such as the judiciary is in support to attract foreign investments besides being beautification exercises to gain populist support in extending PM’s stay in power.

What the hell……..the Dewan Rakyat dismissed the motion by Dato' Seri Abdul Hadi Awang to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the tragedy of Nakba? What has come of our PM, has he forgotten the aspirations and sentiments of Malaysians on the sufferings of the Palestinian people? Does PM any sense of the words “Islamic Brotherhood” or “Unity of the Ummah”? What a shame!

But when you come to think about it, all these foolish actions are unfortunately expected under a weak leadership where the 1st Family particularly the SIL and son thrives in influencing, meddling and interfering in the strategic issues of the nation for their personal interest. Thus under PM, our country is all but lost lest he falls into the same fate as those leaders of the defunct “Coalition of the Willing” by this December the latest. .

THE LINGAM VIDEO TAPES –MY TAKE

In The Scribes by Datuk A Kadir Jasin, he wrote “Mantan PM akan disiasat” in connection with the release of the Commission Report on the Linggam Video Tapes.

My comment on his posting reflecting my take on the issue is set out below.

Salam Datuk,

Sekian. Terima Kasih.

THE MALAYSIAN HALAL CONNECTION: CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND POOR GOVERNANCE?

My comments on Rocky Bru post was as follows

This smells thick of conflict of interest situations and poor governance. The father and SIL should make the appropriate disclosures to the public.

If the SIL indeed is a kaki minum, he should discharged himself from being in involved in the leadership and management of any halal certification processes; buat malu Islam sahaja.

To those who want to see the SIL fail flat in the UMNO leadership, do further verification and if the evidence is discriminating, blow big such findings.

“The Prince of Darkness” aka the young Count Dracula should have his blunt fangs taken out soonest to end the period of darkness in this country brought about by his arrogance (UMNO sombong?) and stupidity in meddling with the strategic affairs of the Nation.

4 COMMENTARIES ON PAST FEW DAYS’ TOPICS

On YB Dato Mukhriz speech in Parliment

I applaud this maiden speech on current issues in Parliament by YB Dato’ Mukhriz. Made with political maturity; it speaks well for a first timer in Parliament. Mukhriz has demonstrated he has the making of an astute parliamentarian with finesse. Sorry but my view is that Mikhriz made KJ look like a dwarf. KJ, while snooping and meddling around all strategic issues on behalf of his father-in-law, could not bring out such issues in the correct perspective. Syabas, Mukhriz my prayers are with you for the Head of Pemuda UMNO youth post. The speech by “the Prince of Darkness” while wasting valuable parliament time demonstrates blatant immaturity, crude and mischief concocted to secure media attention in showing off that he is after all an Oxford graduate with a loud mouth.

On PM’s secret trip to Dubai

Perhaps PM must have wanted some time to be alone and some peace of mind away from all the troubles created from the immature and foolish advice from the SIL and the 4th Floor boys. He knows with those high profile boys and big bucks around he doesn’t want to be asked “who’s the young punk making the decisions?” Otherwise what will these people think of him and his administration?

On Khir Toyo’s Umat Islam Dicabar

Dear Datuk,

Those people using word Allah meaning the One God when they worship TRINITY is more than an insult to our Faith. Our Prophet (PBUB), the Last of the Messengers, completed Allah’s religion on earth with incomparable exemplary and in perfecting Allah with 99 names.

Datuk, you can’t go wrong in advancing this cause but be forewarned, proceed with great caution as today’s enemies of Allah are manifold and they hide in many mischievous and treacherous forms. Strengthening your tauhid and akidah, insha ‘alah, should help you trounce these disbelievers. So fear not for the reward comes only from Him.

The promoter for the non-exclusivity of the word ‘Allah” is by no means a small fry or simple institution; its best you know its history and inside out who you are confronting with; do your research in-depth. In addition to your proposals, secure the help of the Ummah by bringing forward the cause to the forefront via the main stream media for most of the Ummah may not alien with blogging. The non-exclusivity was left to the courts to decide with the least of publicity and knowledge of the Ummah; most deceitful. The Unity of the Ummah is KEY to your success and its best to drum up their support even to the masjid, surau and madrahsah when necessary. The sanctity of the divinity of Allah is for us to protect with the dearest of our hearts lest “the fiery stones will fall upon us from the sky”. Also I would suggest you seek the assistance of those international dakwah instituitons who have experienced in such issues.

I fear the present leadership and the liberal minded Law Minister cannot be relied on because of their quest to promote more freedom in seeking popular support; the will of the minority is favored at the expense of the majority. Its timely and prudent for Muslim NGO’s to move forward in togetherness, armed with the best of the country’s Muslim solicitors, to challenge the court’s decision. To fund the legal challenge, if need be, set up a fund to collect from the Ummah and for sure the donations will heap by the day.

Do not leave any stones unturned.

May Allah guide us Malay Muslims in this honorable cause.

On A M Ubaidah’s blog : A time before Pak Lah

May I commend your article for expounding the SIL and PM to be vaporized from the Malaysian political scene, sooner than later?

With all the havoc that’s happening in the Government to-day, the lay men could acknowledged that PM and his SIL (including the 4th Floor boys) know nothing about governance in multi racial and religious Malaysia. The kris which these two have unsheathed and pointed at TDM and the Sultans is now pointing directly back at them.

But what’s behind the insolence against the Sultans is something worth probing to highlight to the Malaysian audience.

Pak Lah is just a pak turut to the 1st Family in particular the SIL and the 4th Floor boys; he’s just their mouth piece. Pak Lah lost his face to the Sultans in the Perlis and Treggannu via the MBs saga. That the Malay masses are uniting amongst themselves and with the Sultans and no longer under the banner of UMNO against the banner of Malaysian Malaysia is indeed the biggest slap in the face of any UMNO leadership in its entire colorful history. Indeed the SIL has brought much shame to Pak Lah. UMNO in defense of the Sultan against a defiant old man in a wheel chair is nothing exceptional; the old nut can do more harm to himself and his cause if he loose. Loosing control of the wang ehsan, wow, a whopping RM7.4 B in the last 3 years, must be hurting some people’s deep pockets. The SIL has proposed reforms to the Judiciary without prior consultation with the Rulers; he will effectively reduce such powers of the Council of Rulers in the appointment of Judges. There’s very little a young punk called SIL can do to improve the relationship between UMNO and the Sultan, in fact SIL can only be deemed treacherous.

Now what’s the DAP leading the fuss with the Sultans in Perak and Selangor and the Agong in Penang? A show of biadap? – Yes but there’s much more to it. The Sultans and Agong now stand in the way of Pakatan’s infiltration into their minds of the Faithful in these 3 states via the mosque intuition etc. DAP knows Malays are the deciding component and consequently controlling the Malays by “divide and rule” is the best route to effectively break the unity of the Malays. PAS is foolish enough to come forth “innocently” to indoctrinate with their brand of Islam not realizing DAP is merely “playing their backsides” rather than anything else. PKR is not a Melayu tulin entity and therefore cannot speak for the Malays and Islam even though their apparent leader, the PM in waiting, is a Melayu by birth but frankly I do not know kind of Melayu he is, maybe treacherous is a good description. So are PKR’s Socialist Rakyat Malay members with their brand of Islam is so liberal and falls so closely with the philosophical concept of “Freedom of the Future”. So in togetherness, PAS-PKR-DAP are bent on manipulating the results of the G12 where UMNO holds more legitimacy than PAS and PKR (Melayu representatives) on Malay and Islam representation in the 3 states. DAP’s ulterior motive in the defiance of the Sultans and Agong: to enable the DAP to have a field day in destroying the Unity of the Malays in letting loose their puppets, PAS to do their work. And that’s why the PM-in-waiting abhors the call of Ketuanan Melayu and the patriotic role played by BTN; he wants to break the patriotic mindset of the Melayu and Malaysians.

In Indonesia, 10% of the population belonging to a particular race holds 90% of the country’s wealth, the same will hold true if the Malaysian Malaysia concept and Ketuanan Rakyat becomes dominant. Alhamdullilah, we are fortunate that the Rulers of to-day stood firm against the deception and ploys of the Minority against the legitimate wishes of the Melayu Majority. The PM and SIL are so self centered and ARROGANT (SOMBONG & BODOH SOMBONG) that they can’t do anything good for the Melayu; they only have their selfish interest at heart and I hope they soon kena terajang by the Rulers.

The Ex-Gratia payment by Tun Dr Mahathir

My comments in TDM’s blog in relation to the said matter are as follows:

Dear Tun

A blatant abuse of the country’s resources, time and money is the only message apparent in the bringing up the more than 20 year old case of Tun Salleh Abas. I too fail to see the rationale in paying ex-gratia to those judges who have already received their full pensions except that there are those who only crave for a satisfaction in ‘beating’ Tun up while enhancing their foolish and ignorant appreciation of the specifics of the case.

For your invaluable and unchallenged services to the country, what Tun received is just “peanuts”. Pont is the present leadership doesn’t see that and will fail see that as long as Tun, in seeking for the betterment of the country and Rakyat, continues to be a danger to them.

Take your time Tun, your good health is priority, in continuing to selflessly address the shortfalls of the present weak leadership and to acknowledge us with the other side of the stories so that Tun’s statesmanship will remain unblemished.

End

STILL ON RPK AND KAPAL SINGH

As per my comments posted today on A M Ubaidah’s as well as in Tunkuaisah’s blogs in relation to the above subject matters

I am uncertain what game or games RPK is playing; he’s however showing to his followers he’s smarter than all. At first I thought he was playing the role of the ‘King’ in a long drawn match of chess but his game lasted only two days after realizing there’s danger rather than protection in jail; nak makan pun ada phobia. Looks likely he is merely a ‘pawn’ for somebody or something big to come. I must admit his shrewdness in galvanizing the support of bloggers and the mighty guardians or sentinels of free speech. It’s as though the sky has fallen for all these fellows all because RPK doesn’t see justice in a RM5K bail. By his behavior patterns, RPK must have taken a lot of cue from DSAI in moving human sentiments I am anxiously waiting for the disclosure of the truth RPK believes he has on the specific case.

The candle vigil (s) looks very similar to likes of one laying him self on the road to be run down by a lorry to get public sympathy and attention while the same time recklessly frames up the truth by superimposing photographs in justifying himself as a member of parliament. What has Malaysians come too in the name of freedom and truth? I wonder what kind of “true” friend(s) is/are the vigil bearer(s); they are playing sinful politics the kind the silent majority will no longer appreciate.

Kapal Singh, what a pitiful fellow, on the wheel chair and still trying to prove to the country he is still a worthy representative. Both Kapal Singh and Lim Kit Siang seemed to be in a ‘big’ hurry as they try to undo UMNO lest their long time dreams don’t come true soon enough. I just hope at their age they don’t suffer from “pre-ejaculations” cum ecstasies to get deadly heart attacks. I still think two old frustrated “idolas”, Kapal Singh & Lim Kit Siang, are more valuable to the Malay dilemma if they are allowed to be roam free to make abhorring remarks in inciting the blood of the Malays/ Bumiputras. Letting them roam free will not depict weak leadership if there’s a more decisive strategy to follow; hitting at the most opportune moment. Further these two ‘demons’ actions to control the Malay Muslim minda through PAS’s intended penetration of the mosque institution had made PAS looked so anesthetized and dumb. Perhaps PAS now sees some true colors of Malaysian Malaysia. And the PM-In -Waiting, he is sitting quietly as he keeps sucking his thumb while pondering on his proclamation of Ketuanan Rakyat. He wipes his tears as he watches as the Malays consolidate against the concept of Malaysian Malaysia; he should know he’s going too old to continue sucking his thumb if he does not move soon enough if he wants the No.1 position.

Any suspicion that the PM's office is working with elements of Pakatan Rakyat only impresses the depravities from another loose orgy of strange bedfellows. No wonder the oldest trade in the world is called prostitution which incessantly increases when absolute power corrupts absolutely within the corridors of power.
