Dr Puad Zarkashi “ Peralihan kuasa ialah proses “Merakyatkan UMNO”

My comments on the above posting found in

is as follows

"There are “many ways to skin a cat” although it is well acknowledged that to remove an UMNO president from power is practicably impossible unless we continue to be bravely united in our cohesive efforts to bring him down without any compromise to our race and Islam.

The President’s weakest link, being the source of his greatest mistakes, is his immediate family who blatantly plundered the nation while continuing to influence him immensely in decisions of National Security. It is ridiculous that the country is managed and run by a bunch of nincompoops with personal selfish interest while the President remains merely its mouth piece.

Dr Puad Akashi’s Batu Pahat UMNO decision to approve the various resolutions is most commendable and should be quickly preceded by others. His methodology of the EGM route will however take time while the interest of the Nation continues to rot. I hope the many other divisions will quickly join in the chorus and enhance the pressure on the President to quit rather than wait until year end.

Time is the essence as the security of the Nation continues to falter. While we should not discontinue our concerted efforts including voicing out loud our disapproval of the President in prolonging his stay in office, we should not loose focus on his weakest link. That weakest link should be exploited to the maximum and those with the relevant proofs should be coaxed to come forward (to the relevant authorities or channels) in ensuring that no loose ends remain untied; this could be difficult but perhaps the appropriate and quickest route to force the President’s departure..

Bringing down the President is just the beginning. The Party has to be urgently and wholesomely revamped/ restructured for its relevancy. This is the “catalyst of change” that I find is the ultimate in pursuing the long and enduring “war” in regaining the trust and confidence of the lost “Silent Majority” and consequently wins back the lost states with pride and dignity. At the helm of the Party must be a strong leadership, unattached to those traditional ways which have been found counter productive while appreciating the necessity to reconcile with the vanquished, unify the Party at all fronts. Then only then can the country successfully and with ease face the threats from the likes of those associated with “Foundation of the Future”.

Once again to Dr Fuad Akashi and his Division, I congratulate a job well done."
