A well presented key speech by our elderly statesman

Browsing through the various blogs this morning, my eyes caught an article on

“SECURITY PROBLEMS IN ASIA AND THEIR POSSIBLE IMPACT ON WORLD STABILITY” a keynote address by Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad at the 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE BY CENTRE FOR DEFENSE INFORMATION STUDIES (CDIS) in Havana, Cuba on 21 April 2008.

Going through his speech, I would agree that many of the world’s problems (Asia, Middle East etc) to-day and its peace and security is continually being threatened by the vested interest and hypocrisy of the United State and its so called allies. It is however sad that no other country or group of countries at present can effectively neutralize the arrogance and negative influence of the word’s biggest economy.

To my former prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, I salute you. The speech was well presented and suitably crafted as the elderly statesman of Malaysia and I am sure as usual the audience had given you a thunderous applause. I also hope you will continue to present such enlightening speeches as well as continue voicing your dissatisfaction of the present leadership in our own country until it comes to a satisfactory completion.

Syabas and Shukur Alhamdullilah. .
